The midfielder fired Town three-to-the-good in that match but is now fully focused on adding to his tally with four games remaining.
“I was buzzing to get my goal. Recently, I have been on the bench, doing alright when I have come on but I expect a lot better of myself to be honest.
“I am really pleased to get my goal but with four more games to come I want to kick on and help the team to finish as high up the table as possible.”
Town's number 16 believes the timing of the victory is key with a run of three away matches to come.
“With three away games to come we wanted to go into them with three points and a good performance. They will all be difficult places to go but we have given ourselves a great opportunity to kick on and finish the season strongly so hopefully we can do that.”
Reflecting on the performance, Pattison praised the ability of the side to put any nerves to one side and focus on getting the result.
“We are absolutely buzzing, we knew there was a lot riding on the game but there is some good characters in the dressing room and we put those nerves to one side.
“I thought we were brilliant from start to finish. We have come away with a clean sheet, three points and three goals, you can't ask for much more than that really.”
With close friend, Sam Folarin opening the scoring during the victory, Pattison admits he was pleased to see Folarin show what he is capable of.
“I bring him into training because he's not able to drive yet. He has been on another level in training recently so I was pleased to see him get a couple of starts.
“It's just about confidence with him, I think today he showed just how good he can be. The pace he has is frightening and if he uses that to the best of his ability then no one is going to stop him.”
