Left-back Matty Foulds joined the club on a permanent deal during the summer transfer window. This followed an initial loan spell during the second half of last season.
A product of the Bury academy, the defender was quickly snapped up by Premier League side Everton in 2016. During his time on Merseyside he lifted the Premier League 2 competition twice and Premier League Cup.
The defender left Goodison Park for a brief spell in Italy with Como, Foulds returned to sign for hometown club Bradford City in 2021.
Since then, the defender has made over 40 appearances in League Two and scored against Town in a Yorkshire Derby during the 21/22 season.
