Thomson joined Town in May 2017 from FC United of Manchester, who he had represented along with Kings Lynn and Chester.
Our 'star man' has now played over 150 appearances for the club and has had a hand in 74 goals in his first four years at The EnviroVent Stadium.
As well as winning two promotions and an FA Trophy, Thomson was named Players' Player of the Year for the 2020/21 season, our first in the EFL, following an impressive campaign at an entirely new level.
