Harrogate Town AFC

Goalkeeper Pete Jameson arrived at Town in May 2022, after he earned promotion to the National League with York City, keeping 19 clean sheets in 56 appearances for the Minstermen that season. 

Born in Sunderland, the 29-year-old stands at 6ft3 and before spending the last three seasons at the North Yorkshire side, Jameson had spent time at Blyth Spartans, Darlington, Sunderland RCA, South Shields (loan), and Consett.

Jameson was named in the National League North Team of the Season in his first campaign in Yorkshire and turned down a move to The National League in 2021 in order to stay and help York earn promotion.

In that final season - in which he played every minute - the shot stopper saved a penalty in the semi final tie vs Brackley to see his side through to the final. 

He was then named Clubman of the Year for the Minstermen before signing for Town.
