An exciting voluntary opportunity has arisen at Harrogate Town Ladies Team for an Assistant Coach.
Harrogate Town Ladies currently play in the fifth tier of women’s football with aspirations of promotion this season.
The role is working with the development team (aged 16 – 25), who aim to prepare young women for the transition into the first team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Head Coach, First Team Coach & U16 coach to ensure the continuous development of all female players at Harrogate Town.
Ensure all development players are fully prepared for games and have a comprehensive development programme, including liaising with other coaches & giving appropriate tactical input during games.
Create a positive environment for player development; display high standards of behaviour and appearance and encourage the same from all players.
Deliver allocated weekly training sessions with the Development team
Liaise with the First Team Coach to identify and recruit players across all age groups.
Use of the FA Full Time to update results and fixtures
Qualifications needed:
· Level One
· Hold an up-to-date FA Safeguarding Children and Basic First Aid for Sport (BFAS) qualifications
· Valid DBS – can be supplied by the club upon appointment
Qualifications desired:
· Level Two
· GK Coaching Qualifications
· UEFA B Licence
· Youth Module 3
Games are played on Sunday & the team train on Tuesday evenings.
