Our Player Development Centre allows boys and girls from U8 to U16 the opportunity to access additional high-quality coaching and support, relevant to their development stage.
Our Vision
The vision of the club is to have a youth set-up that makes the local area proud by maximising the talents of enthusiastic young players in the local and surrounding areas. To do this we need to create the right atmosphere for our young players to thrive. The culture at Harrogate Town is based on our core values of Integrity, Pride, Honesty, Trust and Respect and is driven by the people involved. We believe that by remaining true to ourselves, we can help young players be the best they can be in both football and in education.
The aim is for Harrogate Town’s PDC, APDC and the CAT4 Academy to be at the forefront in producing technically gifted young footballers who will represent the club in the future. With various player pathways in place for both boys and girls, we aim to engage with all areas of a young players development both on and off the pitch.

As well as at St John Fisher's, our PDC now runs from Rossett Sports Centre in Harrogate, a new addition for the 2023/24 season.
Boys PDC

Girls PDC

These sessions run on Friday nights at St John Fishers High School where we use the state of the art 3G Pitch. £28 per month from September to July.

- Play to Compete - U13/U14s
- Play to Win - U15/U16/U17s
PDC Members also benefit from a games programme, testing their skills against other Academies and football clubs, with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United just two clubs our Player Development Centre have faced over the past few years.
Our Player Development Centre (PDC), Advanced Player Development Centre (APDC) and the Category 4 Academy philosophy has been developed in order to produce the players of the future for Harrogate Town AFC and to provide continuity, stability and sustainability by delivering a program of excellence through the structured phases of the PDC, APDC and CAT 4 Academy.
Our lead coaches are FA Qualified to UEFA A/B license standard with support coaches having a minimum FA Level 2 Qualification, while everyone involved in the coaching sessions holds a fully enhanced DBS certification, an up to-date Safeguarding Children qualification and Emergency Aid qualification.

The best way to pay is by standing order / direct bank transfers on the 1st of every month.
