Mitch Curry's hat-trick made it three wins from three for Harrogate Town's U21 side on Monday night.
Morgan Smith opened the scoring for Josh Falkingham's side; beating the visiting goalkeeper at the near post early on.
Curry was appearing in a Town short for the first time since joining on loan from Middlesborough and wasted no time finding the net in yellow and black to put Town 2-0 up at the break, though in truth it could have been more had chances not been squandered.
Curry added Town's third shortly after the second half resumed, before breaking down the left hand side and finishing with composure to seal his hat-trick and end the game as a contest.
Smith then made it five for Town with the pick of the goals, whipping a free kick into the top right corner from a narrow angle.
Knaresborough did find a consolation goal with almost the last kick of the game, though U21 Manager Falkingham was pleased with his side's showing.
He said: “I was delighted with our performance on Monday, especially in the first half we played really well and created a number of chances.
“The lads are really starting to feel and look like a team and working closely with them on the training ground is really starting to show out there on the pitch.
“Preparations have now begun for our next match at Silsden next Thursday night, everyone is looking forward to that and we are hoping to keep our run going.”
