Brody Pattison named Community Captain

29 February 2024

Brody Pattison has been chosen as Harrogate Town’s Community Captain thanks to his dedication to supporting community initiatives as part of the Premier League’s More Than A Game campaign.

Brody has been a Harrogate Town fan since a young age, attending the soccer camps and player development centres. He first dipped his toe into the media world when he created a vlog about Town when he was just 12 years old. He soon gained attention from staff and players alike through his positive messages about Town.

Brody went on to complete the NCS and change markers programme through the Community Foundation alongside volunteering on a match day and other club/foundation events alongside his A-Level study, before being offered his dream role as a content creator at the Club at the start of the 2023/24 season.

Brody has shown an incredible desire to cover both club & community activities within his new role, really showing his understanding of how much of a positive influence Harrogate Town can have on young people across his Community.

Taking part in the change makers programme, Brody was able to use his voice as a young person to directly influence change, whilst utilising his media skillsets to help promote what he and his group were doing. Brody also presented to the Community Foundation board of trustee’s with another youth voice group member about the positive experience that this programme had on their journey and lives.

With Brody’s support, our Community Foundation has been able to promote more of their projects and programmes and demonstrate their impact more effectively and help reach more people within the community.

Congratulations, Brody!
