The club wishes to provide supporters with the following injury update.
Lewis Thomas
Following an ankle injury sustained in training, Lewis Thomas underwent surgery last week which will see him sidelined for 10 weeks.
We are pleased to announce this surgery was a success and Lewis can now begin his road to recovery.
Mark Oxley
Mark Oxley is making good progress from the rupture in his calf tendon. This has allowed the goalkeeper to begin his outdoor rehab.
To get to this point, Mark has been building up his loading running on the AlterG (anti-gravity treadmill) which has allowed him to run at a lower percentage of his bodyweight.
In the coming weeks, he will be moving onto position specific rehab.
Rod McDonald
Unfortunately, Rod has sustained a torn calf whilst undertaking on his recovery from a recent MCL injury.
This set-back means Rod will remain sidelined for a further 2-3 weeks.
Sam Folarin
Sam tore his hamstring tendon in our victory over Doncaster earlier this month.
The attacker will be sidelined for 2-3 months.
Stephen Dooley, Warren Burrell and Kayne Ramsay
Both Stephen Dooley, Warren Burrell and Kayne Ramsay sustained knocks in Saturday's victory over Forest Green.
Fitness calls will be made on the trio later this week.
Joe Mattock & Toby Sims
We are pleased to report that Toby Sims & Joe Mattock have this week rejoined first team training.
